Katrina’s first picture book, Marty’s nut-free Party is being released September 1, 2012 with Wombat Books. With gorgeous illustrations by talented artist Leigh Hedstrom, this story book is a fun way to teach allergic children and their friends about food allergies. Katrina and Chris are very excited to announce the birth of Molly Jean Macdonald Roe. She was born at Sydney Adventist Hospital on November 21 at 8.40 pm. She weighed in at 3.895 kg or 8 lb 12 oz. She’s a little beauty and we love her dearly!

Exciting news!!! Katrina has just had a picture book accepted for publication with Wombat Books. Marty’s (Nut-free) Party is about a little monkey called Marty who is the life of every party… until he finds out he’s allergic to peanuts. Join Marty and his friends as they work out how to negotiate birthday party’s and learn how to manage Marty’s life-threatening allergy. Marty’s (Nut-free) Party will be published by Wombat Books in 2012. I’ll let you know more news as it comes to hand.

Today I received the first copies of Psalms of Everyday Christians – Volume 1, fresh off the press. And I was quite impressed. It’s a tidy little hardcover book and will make a lovely present for a friend or relative who needs some encouragement in their life. The psalms or poems in this book focus on creation and on enjoying the goodness of life – I’m sure you’ll find them quite uplifting. I have three prayers in the anthology. Katrina has just had three poetic prayers accepted for publication in an upcoming anthology. Published by Even Before Publishing, an imprint of Wombat Books, Psalms of Everyday Christians Vol 1 will feature prayers, illustrations, poems and other creative works on the theme of All Creations Sings. The book is due out in late 2010! Details to follow.
